What time to leave for the Miami GP
We will not guess your minutes. These are the fixed times your plan has to fit: when lots, gates and shuttles open and close.
Quick answer
In 2026 lots opened at 11:00 Friday, 09:30 Saturday and 07:30 Sunday, with gates 30 minutes later. Sunday shuttles started at 10:30. The 2027 times are not published yet.1,2

The fixed times
Lots opened 30 minutes before the gates every day in 2026. On Sunday the published shuttle hours started at 10:30, later than the 07:30 lot opening, so check shuttle hours before you plan an early arrival from a shuttle lot.1,2
| Day | Sessions | Lots open | Gates open | Shuttle | Gates close |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Friday Apr 30 | FP1 and FP2 (expected) | 11:00 | 11:30 | 11:30–22:00 | 20:00 |
| Saturday May 1 | FP3 and Qualifying (expected) | 09:30 | 10:00 | 09:30–20:00 | 19:00 |
| Sunday May 2 | Race | 07:30 | 08:00 | 10:30–21:00 | 19:00 |
Work back from your gate
- Pick your arrival time at the gate first, then add the leg from your lot or station: a walk from Lots 35, 34, 30 or 22, or a shuttle every 10 minutes from Lots 50, 60, 70 and 95.3
- On Brightline, the free shuttle leaves Aventura 10 minutes after each train arrives.1
- Leave room for screening and the bag rules; a bag that is too big means a trip to bag check near Gates 3, 5, 8 or 14.1
- There is no re-entry, so anything you forget stays forgotten.1
- Alcohol sales stop 30 minutes before the gates close.1
Leaving after the race
In 2026 the Sunday shuttles ran until 21:00 and the gates closed at 19:00. Rideshare pickup uses the same lot as drop-off, and taxis queue outside Gate 4 on 199th Street.1,2
